Hannah
Anderson graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a double
B.A. in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. This will
be Hannah's second year of teaching. She moved to Topeka in July of 2006,
after living in Iowa most of her life! In her spare time, Miss Anderson
enjoys watching and playing sports, reading, music, and talking with friends. |
Janice
Black teaches Kindergarten. This is her 24th year in the teaching profession.
She taught second grade for two years in the Kansas City, Kansas School
District, first grade for three years and Kindergarten for nineteen years
at Wanamaker. She enjoys working with children and helping them to become
successful in their education. she adds, "Everyday I look to motivate
and stimulate children to learn in a positive way." |

This
is Elizabeth Goering's first year teaching. She recently graduated from
Washburn University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with
an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. She has lived in Topeka all
her life and is excited to be teaching in the school district where she
attended! She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and puppy.
Miss Goering is looking forward to a wonderful school year! |
Sharlitta
Johnson teaches children in Kindergarten. This is her 25th year of working
with children. During these years, she has taught pre-school, first, second,
third and fourth grades. She graduated with a degree in Elementary Education
from Fort Hays State University. |
Mrs.
McKibben

is Julie's eleventh year teaching Kindergarten at Wanamaker. Julie attended
and graduated from Blue Valley High School in the Kansas City area. She
then moved to Lamoni, Iowa where she attended Graceland University and
graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. She and her husband were
married in 1990, and then moved to Topeka in 1995. They recently had a
baby boy. Mrs. McKibben will be back at the beginning of the 2008-2009
school year. We miss her, but are overjoyed about their new addition to
their family. |
