Glenda Dixon is very excited and happy to be a part of Wanamaker Elementary School. This is her 39th year of teaching,and her fourth in the Auburn-Washburn Schools. She has taught sixth grade, fourth grade, and have been a library media specialist for the last 13 years.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from a small college in Oklahoma. Her master’s degree is from Emporia State and she received her library media certification from Kansas State. She continues to take classes when they work into her schedule because she still enjoys learning and finding out about new ideas and concepts.

She and her husband have two grown daughters and two grandchildren. Her hobbies include growing flowers, reading, and working with computers. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
