The Caldecott Medal is awarded to the best picture book published in America during the year. It is awarded to the Illustrator of the books. The 2005 winner is Kitten’s First Full Moon by Kevin Henkes. The 2004 winner is The Man Who Walked between the Towers by Mordical Gerstein. The 2006 award will be announced in January of 2006. |
