 Jamie
Lira has been teaching with USD 437 for five years. She teaches band and
chorus at Wanamaker. She taught band previously for three years in Leoti,
Kansas. She graduated from Emporia State University in December of 2000,
and was involved in the ESU marching band, choir, and orchestra. She and
her husband of five years grew up in Topeka, and both graduated from Washburn
Rural High School. They have one son. Mrs. Lira enjoys traveling with
her family, bowling, golf, and playing clarinet in the Topeka Marshall's
Band. |
 This
is Mrs. Reynolds's twentieth year at Wanamaker Elementary teaching music.
Before moving to Kansas, she also taught in Indiana, Missouri and Iowa.
She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education and a Master of
Arts Degree in Music Education, both from Ball State University in Muncie,
Indiana. She and her husband both grew up in Indiana and have three grown
children, as well as three grandsons and two granddaughters. Besides spending
time with family, she and her husband enjoy traveling around seeing new
sights. She reads and does counted cross stitch in her free time. |

 Mr.
Ohse has been teaching school music since 1979. He has taught orchestra,
band. choir, bell choir, and general music. He is teaching strings here
at Indian Hills, as well as teaching at Wanamaker, Pauline South, Washburn
Rural Middle School, and Washburn Rural High School.
Mr. Ohse graduated from Southwest Texas State University, and earned his Master's Degree form the University of Kansas, where he still takes violin lessons. His motto is "Never quit learning." |
