Teaching
children to grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially is one
of my major goals as a physical education teacher. Baker University is
my collegiate alma mater where I majored in biology and physical education.
What a duo!!! Thirty-five years of teaching elementary through college-age
students has been a truly rewarding experience. Along with teaching, I
have coached national award-winning cheerleading squads, gymnastic teams,
girl's softball, tennis, golf, volleyball, and soccer.
I
have lived in Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Virginia, and now back to
Kansas. I have two children and two grandchildren. One of my very favorite
places to visit is the ocean. Dolphins, to me, are the most beautiful
animal. I love to watch them spin, jump, and play in the ocean. "Putting
feet on my dreams" would be to live in a cottage by the sea where
I could see dolphins every day. |
